Mary married William E. Cox 27 Oct 1859 in Hendricks County, IN. She was his third wife. They had no children, but Mary became the step mother for William's young son, Samuel. After William's death, Mary made her home with her nephew Joseph Plummer and his family. She died at his home 24 Feb 1923 and was buried in Fairview Cemetery on 26 Feb 1923.
