Melanie R. (Smith) Adams, 47, of Irvine, Calif., died from cancer, May 31, 2003.
She was born in Biddeford, Maine, the daughter of Fred W. Smith Sr. and Elsie R. (Stearns) Cooley. Most of her childhood was spent in Milford. She is a graduate of Merrimack High School, and was a resident of Hudson, until she and her two sons moved to Irvine, Calif., 13 years ago.
She was predeceased by a brother, Peter and a sister, Christie Sue.
A graveside memorial service will be held at Meetinghouse Hill Cemetery in Hollis, Maine.
