John Dougherty of Great Falls, Montana, formerly Sheldon resident passed away in the Cascade Convalescent Home in Great Falls on Friday night. He had been ill health for many years.
He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Dougherty, pioneer Sheldon family. Survivors are his daughter (Marilyn) Mrs. Howard Landhuis of St. Joseph, Missouri, three brothers. James of Sioux Falls, Frank of Sheldon and Charles P. of Portland, Oregon, one granddaughter Mrs. Richard Maday of St. Joseph and two great grandchildren. The body is being brought to Sheldon for burial and funeral arrangements are pending.
