Abraham was the son of Jacob and Rachel (Whitsel) Traxler. Abraham was married twice. First to Anna M. Kane, the second to Nettie Davis Combs. He had the following children with Anna: Hilda, Jacob William, and Carrie. Nettie and Abraham adopted a daughter Audrey.
Abraham worked for the railroad. He died as a result of a railroad accident. A pile of ties fell on him and a few days later he died. According to his death cerificate cause of death is listed as Internal hemorrage caused by accident P.R.R. It also states that the accident occurred in Williamsburg, PA..

Abraham is my great grandfather. When his marker was first made they made a mistake and put Draxler instead of Traxler. They tried to correct it but the "D" still shows.
