ADABELLE PENNEBAKER CRIBBS

Adabelle Cribbs, 88, of Peel, Ark., formerly of Niles, died at 11:40 p.m. Thursday March 9, 2006 in Care Manor, Mountain Home, Ark. She was born January 4, 1918, the daughter of Samuel Harry and Ferne Hildred (Deaver) Pennebaker. She married John Leroy Cribbs Jr., who Preceded her in death August 8, 1993

Survivors include a daughter, Constance R. "Connie" Elmore of Peel; two sons, Gary L. and Paul M., both of South Bend; and two sisters, Mildred Peterson of Portland, Ore., and Marilyn Imel of Gravity, Iowa. Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Northway Church of Christ, South Bend, where friends may call from 11:30 a.m. until time of services. Burns Funeral Home, Yellville, Ark., handled arrangements.
