Lillian Cameron Booth-Mayes, 77, died Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at Baton Rouge General Medical Center-Bluebonnet. She was a longtime resident of Baker. Lillian was a retired school teacher and a dedicated volunteer. She enjoyed leading the exercise group at the First United Methodist Church of Baker.

She is survived by her husband, Arley Mayes, daughter and son-in-law Nonie and Gerald Farriel, daughter Catalina Wilkinson, and son and daughter-in-law Andrew and Jan Booth, grandchildren, Jeremy Farriel and wife Roxane, Kacie Farriel, Clair Badeaux and husband, Justin, great grandchildren, Skylar and Kennedy Galloway, Maddie Badeaux, Demi Danzie, Sam Farriel, and countless students whose lives she touched. Lillian also leaves her sister, Katie Wainwright and brother, Charlie Cameron and wife Ginger.

She was preceded in death by husband, Robert S. Booth, parents, William and Angela Cameron, brothers, William Cameron and Donald Cameron.

Her wishes were to have her body donated to the LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Lillian Booth-Mayes will be held at the First United Methodist Church of Baker.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her name to the First United Methodist Church of Baker.
