Ronald Curtis Adkins of Highland, a native of San Diego, lived in Highland for 41 years, died of cancer at home on Monday at the age of 43. He was a mechanic for Obershaw Toyota and member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. He was survived by his parents, Floyd and Ethel, both of Highland, a brother, Richard of Hayfork, and a half-sister, Diane Woertink of Willits. Service will be 1 p.m., Thursday at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel with interment at Montecito Memorial Park.
