Marcella Lee Altizer Sweet, age 77, of Jewell Ridge, Virginia passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at her home. She was born in Tazewell County, Virginia and was the daughter of the late Joseph Leslie and Catherine Harrison Altizer. Mrs. Sweet was a lifelong resident of the Jewell Ridge area and she was a homemaker.

Funeral services for Marcella Lee Sweet will be held on Saturday, February, 23, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jimmie Cole officiating. Interment will follow at Greenhills Memory Gardens, Claypool Hill, Virginia. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
