Frances Greear, 95, of Troy, IL.,died Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, at Caseyville Nursing and Rehab Center, Caseyville, IL. Frances was born on Mar. 2, 1917 in Crystal City, Jefferson County, Missouri. Her parents were Paul and Mary (Gruick) Uhring.

Mrs. Greear was first married to Edmond Willimann and lived for many years on a farm near Troy, Illinois. Frances was a wonderful gardner and truly loved farming. She also worked at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and retired after many years of service. She was a member of Troy Christian Church, Rebeccas Lodge of Troy and Moose Lodge of Collinsville Post #1561.

Surviving are her second husband Melvin Greear of Troy, IL; daughters Doris Ann (Lee) Nations of Imperial, MO, Brenda (Robert) Milcik of Bloomington, IL; son Edmond (May) Willimann of Prescott, AZ; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 12 great great-grandchildren; and brother Paul Uhring of Mascoutah, IL. She was preceded in death by her first husband; her parents; brother Mike; and sisters Esther, Anna, Bessie, Mary, Helen and Margaret.

Memorials could be made to Friedens Cemetery, Troy, IL. Friends called from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, IL. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at the funeral home with Rev. Charles West officiating. Burial was at Friedens Cemetery, Troy, IL. Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, Illinois was in charge of arrangements.
