She was born July 6, 1926 in Houston County to Arland Skidmore and Annie Maude Chaffin. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Grapeland. Mrs. Finch was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Troy E. Finch. She is survived by daughter, Donna Turner of Katy, son-in-law Don (Tom) Turner, Jr., sister, Neva Trahan of Beaumont; brother, Harold Skidmore of Palestine; sister-in-law, Lena Goodnight of Grapeland; grandchildren, Todd Turner, and Barbara Powell and husband Tim; and great grandchildren, Dillion Powell, and Lauren and Keegan Turner.
