Cleveland was united in holy matrimony to Hester Preston and to this union eight children were born: Arthur Arceneaux, Cathy Arceneaux, Cleveland Arceneaux, Jr., Diana Arceneaux, Dora Arceneaux, Marva Arceneaux, Elleanor Arceneaux, and Charles Arceneaux.
Cleveland departed this life November 2, 1997 in Ashton, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Arthur Arceneaux.
Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Hester Preston-Arceneaux; two sons, Cleveland Arceneaux, Jr. and Charles "Charlie Boy" Arceneaux; five daughters, Cathy Arceneaux-Notto, Diana Arceneaux, Dora Arceneaux-Jackson, Marva Arceneaux, and Elleanor Arceneaux; and an abundance of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
