Elnora was united in holy matrimony to John Arceneaux, Sr. and to this union eight children were born: John Arceneaux, Jr., Cleveland Arceneaux, Joseph Arceneaux, Clarence Arceneaux, Charlie Arceneaux, Dorothy Arceneaux, James Arceneaux, and Dora Arceneaux.
Elnora departed this life January 25, 1989 in Franklin, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Arceneaux, Sr.; her parents, Rogers Johnson, Sr. and Clementine Lockett Johnson-Hebert; one son, Charlie Arceneaux; 5 sisters, Victoria Johnson-Francis, Sylvania Johnson-Archield, Marjorie Mae Johnson-Gabriel, Viola Johnson, and Dorothy Johnson-Doyle; and 2 brothers, Benjamin Johnson, Sr. and Rogers Johnson, Jr.
Those left to cherish her memories are five sons, John Arceneaux, Jr., Cleveland Arceneaux, Sr. (Hester), Joseph Arceneaux (Delores), James Arceneaux, and Clarence Arceneaux; two daughters, Dorothy Arceneaux-Jordan and Dora Arceneaux-Bessard (Charles); five sisters, Ida Johnson-Marshall, Anna Johnson-Delasbour, Mable Johnson-Payton, Louise Johnson-Dorsey, and Mattie Johnson-Robinson; and an abundance of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
