Charlotte Gable came to America when she was 19. She came with her parents on the ship Victoria and arrived in New York May 18, 1857. She then meet a man named Philip P. Haage and by June of next year they had their first son, Frederick Haage in Ohio. They had three other children. A son named Jacob and a daughter named Charlotta who both died in the 1870's. They had one more daughter in Illinois named Katie. Phillip passed away September 24, 1888 in St. Louis Missouri. She stayed in St. Louis for a while with her daughter and then moved to Dent county where she passed away.
