David PARKER, the son of James PARKER Jr. & Mary LEE (daughter of David LEE Jr. & Mary CONE LEE BEST), was born in Screven County, Georgia. He was the husband, first of Charity Ann ZEIGLER, and then of Martha Ann BRINSON.

Service record: Enlisted in Company B (Screven Troop), 2nd Battalion Georgia Cavalry, on April 30, 1862 at Camp Cummings, Isle of Hope, Georgia. David transferred to Company F, 5th Georgia Cavalry, on 20 Jan 1863. On 5 Feb 1863, he furnished W. G. Chitty as a substitute. On 4 Aug 1863, he enlisted as a private in Captain Stubbs's Company, 12th (Wright's) Georgia Cavalry, State Guards. No later record. David Parker is listed in the 17th Military District Roll of 26 May 1864.
