Gaffney, S.C. - Anne Sue Love Kimberlain, 69, of 306 Mimosa Drive, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Brookview Healthcare Center.
Born in Grover, N.C., she was the widow of Danny Roger Kimberlain and the daughter of the late Edward Hughey Love and Mary Sue Beam Love.
She was formerly a legal secretary and was retired from the Cherokee County Veteran's Affairs. Mrs. Kimberlain was a member of Providence Baptist Church, where she was a choir member.
Surviving are a daughter, Millicent Gibson of Gaffney; a step-son, Danny Kimberlain, Jr. of Arlington, VAa. a brother, Reed Love of Concord, N.C.; two sisters, Eddie Dover and husband, Sonnie of Rock Hill and Rita Hamrick of Harrisburg, N.C.; and five grandchildren, Heather Kimberlain, Timothy Kimberlain, Tyler Kimberlain, Cheyenne Gibson and Ronan Gibson.
Mrs. Kimberlain was preceded in death by a step-son, Mark Kimberlain; and a sister, Nancy Black.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 3:00 p.m. in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Scott Peterson officiating. Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens.
