Andrew Bazzle, who has been ill for some time
with a complication of diseases became very ill Monday and was reported to be no better yesterday morning.

ANDREW J BAZZLE PASSED AWAY YESTERDAY MORNING

Widely Known Farmer And Stockman Succumbs To a Complication of Diseases.

Andrew Bazzle a well known citizen of Rockingham County died at his home in Melrose yesterday morning at twenty minutes past seven, after an illness due to complication of diseases.

Mr. Bazzle was a son of the late Michael and Katherine Carrier Bazzle and was born near Bethel Church being a resident of Rockingham County his entire life.

He was a well and widely known farmer, having been for many years a prominent stock dealer through this section.

Surviving are his wife and six children: John W. Bazzle, Luther A. Bazzle, Ernest Bazzle, Maude L. Bazzle, all at home; and Mrs. W. H. Armentrout, of Zenda; and Mrs. Paul Looker, of near Harrisonburg.

He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren.

Mr. Bazzle was the last surviving member of his family. A sister Miss. Kate Bazzle having preceded him to the grave about one week ago.

Funeral services will be held from the Melrose Church Sunday, conducted by Rev. J.S.C. Myers, assisted by Rev. William Miller.

Inurnment will be at Woodbine Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be John W. Hasler, C.E. Lawson, George Derrer, David Looker, William Nicholas, O.C. Armentrout, L.C. Long, and Erasmus Simmers.
