NAMPA — Services for Mrs. Bessie Lola Oaklund, 80, of Route 1, Meridian, who died Tuesday at a Nampa hospital after a brief illness, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Alsip Funeral Chapel by the Rev. David McKellip of the Church of the Brethren. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Oaklund was born March 17, 1894, in Gasper County, Neb., and was reared there. She married Morris E. Oaklund on Sept. 11, 1911, at Fairbury, Neb. They lived at Concordio, Kan., then returned to Nebraska, where they lived until she moved to Idaho in 1969 to live with her daughter. Mr. Oaklund died Sept. 13, 1948.

She is survived by two sons, Roy Oaklund, Nampa, and Ralph Oaklund, Walla Walla, Wash.; two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Mary Ann) Siegel, Farmington, N.M., and Mrs. Harry (Ruth) Birt, Meridian; and by 20 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by three brothers, a sister and two sons.
