Obituary:
Mrs. Abelina Strader, and [sic] old lady 86 years of age, who has been totally blind for 23 years, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. S. P. Stacy, near Caro, very suddenly last Tuesday noon. She was in apparent good health and crossed the room sitting down in a chair and expired almost immediately. The funeral was held Thursday and remains were interred in the Almer cemetery. The deceased had resided here for 19 years.
