At Grotin, D.T., on the 29th. ult., lightning killed Mr. Bovee of Rochester, Minn., who was turning a windlass at a public well being dug by a few of our citizens. Bovee fell down the well thirty-five feet, and did not touch the man at bottom. The man at the other end of the windlass was slightly shocked. Mr. W.C. Allen, who was only a few rods from the well, was stricken to the ground but is not harmed.
