William (Buck)'s parents were Bennye Jean and Walter B. Conner. (See St. Andrews Cemetery). He married Sallie Louise Gordon on Jan 22,1938. As a youth, Buck helped build the Skyline Drive during the depression through Roosevelt's C.C.C. program. He worked at Johns-Manville most of his life. See Sallie's Bio for the names of their 4 children. They had 8 grandchildren.
