Funeral services for Ms. Avenie Cole Lonidier, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 25, 2011 in the chapel of Rush Funeral Home of Pineville, with Rev. Dexter Edwards officiating. Interment will be in Restland Memorial Gardens, Pollock, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.
Ms. Lonidier, age 71, of Pineville, entered eternal rest on Friday, April 22, 2011, at The Oaks Care Center in Pineville. She was a native of Centerpoint. She was a member of The Pentecostals of Alexandria. She worked for many years as a caregiver for the elderly. She was a very loving mother, grandmother, and sister.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Connie and Maggie Cole; one daughter, Sonya McDaniel Beebe; and one sister, Geraldine Lucas.
She is survived by two daughters, Becky Wallace (Terry) of Ball and Kim Lonidier of Tioga; one brother, Wayne Cole (Barbara) of Centerpoint; one sister, Brenda Ducote (R.J.) of Pineville; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Fabian Brezinski, Wesley McDaniel, Trent Ducote, Blake Ducote, David Ducote, and Chris Ducote.
