She is born in 1894 as Geessiena in the country village Thesinge, municipality Ten Boer, in the northern central part of the Dutch northeastern province Groningen. Her parents are day-laborers Aldert Bolhuis, 33 years aged, and Mina van der Woude, who had married on 13 May 1893 in Ten Boer.

Geziena Bolhuis married on 13 November 1928 in her residence place Manhattan, Gallatin County at the age of 34 years to the one year older Peter Klompien, born in the country village Thesinge in the Dutch northeastern province Groningen, also residing in Manhattan.
She immigrated in the same year, 1928.

Christina and Peter Klompien resided in the beginning of 1930 with their daughter Effie, less than a year aged and born in Michigan, in the Dutch settlement Holland in Gallatin County, later on called Amsterdam-Churchill.

In 1940 Sena (46 y) lived with her husband Peter Klompien (47 y) and their children Effie (10 y), Albert (9 y) and Clarence (5 y) in Holland too as well as in 1935.
