"Dorothy Hensley a former Bowie resident died Feb. 7, 2013 at the age of 83. She was born in Montgomery, La., on July 7, 1929 to James R. and Mary Ann (Davis) Shelton.
Dorothy was a loving homemaker, mother and a great friend to all. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bowie. Survivors include her children Douglas Allan Fletcher of Louisiana; Darrell (Marilyn) Hensley of Wallis, Texas; Mary LeAnn Prisoc of Casa Grande, Ariz.; and Jeff Hensley of Willcox, Ariz.
Dorothy is also survived by four grandchildren and one great grandchild and four brothers.
Preceding her in death was her husband Ervin; her sons George Thomas Hensley, Kevin Bruce Hensley and Robert Keith Hensley.
Memorial services held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, at the First Baptist Church of Bowie. Private interment of her cremains will be in the Desert Rest Cemetery in Bowie, Ariz."
