She was a nurse's aide for Menninger's Clinic and Stormont-Vail Hospital, both in Topeka, and at St. John Rest Home, Victoria, before moving to Hays in 1978. She was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church and the Secular Franciscans.
Survivors include a sister, Cyrilla Karlin, Hays; and two brothers, Joseph Karlin and Celestine Karlin, both of Hays.
Services were at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Father Albert Dwyer officiated; burial was in St. Severin Cemetery.
