CAROL SMATHERS CHEEK BODIE, 73, beloved wife of Thomas Marshall Bodie, Jr., died Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.
A native of Spartanburg, SC, Mrs. Bodie was a daughter of the late Frank Edward and Ethel George Smathers. She had lived in Aiken most of her life and was the owner and operator of The Silver Thimble. She was a member of Southside Freewill Baptist Church.
The Revs. Jim Fairchild and Todd Smith will officiate. Interment will follow in Aiken Memorial Gardens.
