ANDERSON, Susan, 74, of Charleston, passed away February 9, 2013, at her daughter's home, surrounded by her family.
She was born November 13, 1938, to the late Vincent Keefe and Margaret Milton Keefe in Weirton, WV. Her father was an Irish immigrant.
She was Catholic.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Charles Randall (Randy) Anderson, and a brother, Thomas Keefe.
In addition to raising a family, Susan worked as Nurse Assistant at Kanawha Valley Hospital and an office assistant at Tiskelwah Elementary School. She was co-owner of Charleston Acoustics.
She will be dearly missed by her surviving family, son, Mark Edward Anderson of Charleston; daughters, Laura Williamson (Chet) of Charleston and daughter, Mary Anderson and Paula Vineyard of Charleston, WV; one grandson, Shane Britt of Charleston; one brother, Dr. Michael O'Keefe and wife, Dr. JoAnne O'Keefe of Morgantown, WV.
Susan had a genuine zeal for life and living it to its fullest. She loved to travel and visit with friends and family.
The family would like to express a sincere thank you to Linda Ward, Dr. Richard Capito and the staff of hospice.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 12, 2013, at the Bartlett Burdette Cox Funeral Home with the Fr. John Finnell officiating.
Interment will follow at Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Monday, February 11, 2013, at the Bartlett Burdette Cox Funeral Home, 513 Tennessee Ave., Charleston, WV 25302.
