Born March 20, 1941, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Cameron W. Sr. and Esther V. (Limes) Hannon.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Connie Gantz.
He is survived by his wife, Connie (Miller) Hannon, whom he married on July 27, 1963.
Also surviving are: his children, Steven Hannon, of Phoenix, Ariz., Jeffrey Hannon and wife, Lori, of Granville, and Shelli Kuhn and husband, Jason, of Hedgesville, W.Va.; sister, Virginia Wyland, of Belleville; seven grandchildren, Rachel, Emily, Tyler, Bailey and Aiden Hannon and Gregg and Emily Phillips; and two great-grandsons, Skylar and Trystan Malloy.
Cameron was a 1960 graduate of Lewistown High School. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a hydraulic mechanic at Standard Steel, retiring in 2004.
He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
Cameron was a very dedicated family man and especially loved his grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes Inc., 108 First Ave., Burnham, with the Rev. Kari Swigart officiating.
A viewing will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013, at the funeral home.
Interment with VFW Post 7011 honors will take place in Juniata Memorial Park.
