Beatrice Ella Remtema, age 85, was reunited in heaven with her husband Ray and her daughter Leora, on Monday January 6, 2003.

She will be sadly missed by her children, Joan (David) McEachran of Bellingham, WA, Peggy (Jody) Byland of Fremont, and Beverly (Doug) Zondervan of Grandville; her son-in-law, Alvin (Marcia) Elders; her 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; her brothers and sisters, Gertrude Berends, George Herrema, Russell Francis Herrema, Maynard Ruth Herrema, and Mildred Herrema; her brother-in-law, Arnold Remtema; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

The funeral service will be held 7 p.m. Thursday at the Cook Memorial Chapel, 4235 Prairie St SW -east building with Dr. Doug Van Bronkhorst of Grandville First Reformed Church officiating.

Interment will be at the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

The family will meet with relatives and friends on Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and one hour before the service at the Cook Funeral Home, Grandville east building.

Memorial contributions may be made to Trans World Radio, American Cancer Society,or Hospice of Michigan.
