Herman C. "Farmer" Wegner passed away at Saginaw General Hospital late Sunday afternoon, Dec. 26, 1976. Age 70 years. He was born April 19, 1906 in Saginaw County and had lived here all of his life. He was employed at the Chevrolet Grey Iron foundry for 37 years retiring in 1966. He was a member of the U.A.W. Local 668. He married Alma Fischer Oct. 14, 1928. She survives him.
He also leaves one daughter and two sons, Mrs. Frederick (Arlene) Besner and Clarence Wegner, both of Thomas Township; Alvin Wegner, Merrill. Another son passed away in infancy. He also leaves ten grandchildren; three sisters and one brother, Mrs. Fred (Meta) Goodeman, Bridgeport; Mrs. Jack (Agnes) Gorsline and Mrs. Roger (Julia) Romaine, and Henry Wegner, all of Thomas Thownship; many nieces and nephews.... burial in Owen cemetery....
