Knapp, Giles of Greenwood Township, Oceana County, Michigan, husband of Alice Hightower & Susie Sherwood. Giles was born in New York May 7, 1862. He came to Michigan as a small boy with his parents. Married July 3, 1887 to Alice Hightower who died March 2, 1909. On March 7, 1910 he married Susie Sherwood. Giles was a farmer and a Logger. He is survived by his wife Susie and six daughters: Ruth Knapp and Della Itineer of Hesperia, Mrs. Harry Camben, Mrs. Fred Howell, Mrs. Lida Shaffer all of Shelby, Mrs. Lansford of Otto & two sons: Herman of Muskegon & Warren & a brother Charles Knapp of Greenwood. *note, his parents were Nathan and Sarah Knapp of Greenwood.
