L.C. Quackenbush, of Eau Claire, was killed in a train wreck on the Wisconsin & Minnesota road. The freight train ran over a cow, and the conductor was killed in the collision.

E.C. Quackenbush, formerly a conductor on the M. & St. L. road, was run over and killed by the cars near Eau Claire, Wis., last week. He was a brother of Mrs. Ed. Bissell of Pickerel Lake.
