Helen Sherman Oct. 11, 1920 ~ Dec. 2, 2012 Resident of Walnut Creek Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was the owner of Sandra Joy Casuals and a volunteer at John Muir Hospital. She enjoyed tap dancing and yearly trips to Maui. She is predeceased by her loving husband, of 49 ½ years, Sy. Left with treasured memories are her adoring children Sandra, Craig, George (Dorothy); and her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends. Services will be held Sunday, 1 p.m. at Gan Shalom, 1100 Bear Creek Rd., Briones, CA 94553. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Alzheimer Assoc. or The American Cancer Society.
