Draper- Our loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, June S. Baker, returned peacefully to her Heavenly Father on May 21, 2002 at the age of 93.
She was born in Draper, Utah on June 3, 1908 to Joseph
Lauritz Smith and Melissa Ann Fitzgerald. She married Raymond O. Baker on May 9, 1928 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, whee she served faithfully for many years. Some of her happiest memories were spent serving in the Salt Lake and Jordan River Temples as an ordinance worker. She was deeply devoted to her family and home. She loved to work in her flowerbeds in younger years.
June is survived by two sons, Joseph O. (Karen), Sandy; Phil (Lynette), Washington, Utah; four daughters, Rita (Marvin) Robbins, Sandy; Kathleen (John) Petty, Bonnie (Robert) Tolman both of Draper; and LaRee (Bill) Martin, Missouri; 39 grandchildren, 106 great grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son Ray; daughter Elma; grandson Wayne Myrick; two great-great granddaughters, Lacey and Cora; brother Arnold; and two sisters Erma and Ruth.

Funeral services Saturday May 25, 2002 at 11 a.m. in the Draper 2nd Ward Chapel. 1617 East 12700 So. Friends may call Friday 6-8 p.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, and Saturday 9;45-10:45 a.m. t the church. Interment in Draper Cemetery.
