The Rev. Everett Geis officiated, assisted by the Rev. Charles Johnson, at Newton Baptist Church with burial in Newton Cemetery under direction of Kidder-Cox Funeral Home here.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ernest Donahoe of Delhi; four daughters, Mrs. Donnie Wilburn of Pineville, Miss Patricia Donahoe, Mrs. Sonny Hosea, both of Delhi, and Mrs. charles Best of Rosepine; two sons, Jerry Donahoe of Monroe and Gordon Donahoe of Delhi; a foster son, Waymon Meredith of Brownwood, Tex.; three brothers, Charlie Donahoe, James Donahoe and George Donahoe, all of Delhi; two sisters, Mrs. James Monroe of Gilbert and Mrs. J. D. Jones of Delhi; and 12 grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jerry Ball, Edward Gibson, Raymond Green, Percy Rainwater, James Upton, Claude Earl Hosea, Bill Walker and S. V. McKibben.
