He spent 30 years as a Warsaw Firefighter, and during this time he worked as a self employed carpenter. He was a cabinet and furniture maker, and was known for his great carpenter skills. As a hobby he loved to fish for carp.
He was born on March 24, 1945 in Rochester, Indiana to Pearl Elenore Fancil. He was married on July 12, 1986 in Warsaw, Indiana to Sherry Lynn Neer, who survives in Warsaw, Indiana.
