Dorothy E. Nevil, 84, of Stroudsburg, died Friday, March 30, in her home.
She had worked at East Stroudsburg University for many years before retiring in 1982.
Born in Marshalls Creek, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Martha (Bogart) Counterman.
Survivors: Sons, Paul Neipert and Ronald Neipert, both of East Stroudsburg, Douglas Nevil of Stroudsburg; daughters, Zona Price of Reeders, Janice Holden of Bushkill, Brenda Behrman of Colorado Springs, Colo., Patricia Metzgar of Stroudsburg; sisters, Bessie Smith of East Stroudsburg, and Evelyn Klinger of Stroudsburg; brother, Charles in Florida; 33 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Marshall Neipert.
