Russell Martin Dorris, 18, of 135 S.Madison Avenue, died 3 a.m. Saturday at 317 Oates Street. According to Hopkins County Cororner, Tommy Craft, the casue of death was a self-inflicted gun-wound. He was born in Minnesota, Nov. 13, 1964, the son of the late Mack Dorris, who died in 1970, and Mrs.Sarah Burden, of 135 S. Madison Avenue. He was employed Goodyear Service Store in Madisonville. Survivors other than his mother include his wife, Mrs. Majorie Dianne Huddleston Dorris, Madisonville,Monty Dorris, St. Charles, Randy Eastwood,Mortons Gap, and Robert Eastwood, Tulsa, Okla.,one sister, Mrs. Penny Emerson, Madisonville; a step grandfather, Howard Zobel, Madisonville. Services be held 1 p.m. Tuesday at Harris Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Roy Ridenour, officiating. Burial will be in Oddfellows Cementary.
