First wife of Henry B. Collins (1836-1921). Mother of Sarah Amanda Collins (1856-1858), Eliphet J. Collins (1858-1937), Emily Evaline (Collins) Pace (1860-1940) and John William Collins. Mary Jane and Henry were married on January 3, 1856 in Wayne County, Iowa. After she died, Henry marrried Rebecca Jane Rogers. Mary Jane was the daughter of Daniel Slavens and Milla Ann (Spencer) Slavens.
