Nellie Ruth Allen, 76, of LaFayette died Sunday, Feb. 6, 2005 at Bethany House in Auburn.
Mrs. Allen is survived by four children, Frank (Myrtice) Allen of LaFayette, Walter (Donna) Allen of LaFayette, Jerry Adams of Atlanta and Barbara (Jimmy) Yates of Alexander City, Ala.; four sisters, Stella Pierce of LaFayette, Juanita Allen of LaFayette, Sara Yancey of LaFayette and Diane (Buddy) Nix of Chattanooga, Tenn.; one brother, David (Mickey) Abernathy of Newnan, Ga.; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Allen was born April 13, 1928 in Chambers County.
