OBITUARY
Verona Cloann Jewell was born on September 4, 1910, in Hand county, South Dakota, and died August 28, 1924, after an illness of two weeks.
She leaves to mourn her loss, her father and mother, William Webster Jewell and Delia May Jewell, also three sisters and one brother and a host of relatives and friends.
Verona had finished the seventh grade and she planned that on completing the eighth grade she would live with an aunt in Bloomington, Illinois and finish her schooling. But her plans had all been made where there is no more pain and sorrow.
Verona was a great worker in the Sunday School of the Christian church of Miller.
She was always very thoughtful of her mother and father and they were with her to the end.
