Frances G. Nolan, formerly of Barton, died in Lancaster, California, August 8, at the age of 81. She was born in Fairfield, January 17, 1903.

Frances leaves to mourn her husband Wilfred, a son Wilfred Jr., and several granchildren in Lancaster, California. She also leaves a daughter Mary Marazania and four grandchildren of Schenevus, New York; a sister, Bertha of Underhill, and a sister, Esther of Connecticut.

Frances married Wilfred James Nolan on 8 Apr 1934 at Winooski, VT. They had just celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary this past April 8.

Mrs. Nolan had operated the former Archambault Nursing Home on High Street in Barton for several years before going to California to make her home there.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held August 13 at St. Joseph's Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Colton, California.
