Funeral services for John Gondek, who died at his home on Belchertown road, Thursday, were held Sunday morning from the home, followed by a solemn requiem high mass celebrated in SS. Peter and Paul Church by Rev. Anthony Polawski, and Rev. Joseph Szezepaniak as subdeacon. Bearers were Frank Sawicki, Albert Wojtowicz, Peter Frydryk, Sebastian Misaszek, Ladislaus Izyk, Paul Sniola. Burial was in Ste. Ane's Cemetery.
Mr. Gondek was born in Poland and had lived here about 45 years. He leaves his wife, Caroline, three daughters, Mrs. Julia Smythowski of Michigan City, Ind., Sophie and Mary at home, three sons, George, Aloysius and Peter, all at home.
