MRS. MARY ETNA HARTMAN, 84, of 626 Maryland Ave., died at Washington County Hospital on Monday morning.
Born at Funkstown, she was a daughter of Benjamin and Mary Jane Harmon Clark, and the widow of Joseph W. Hartman. She was a member of Emanuel United Methodist Church.
She is survived by sons, Preston E. Hartman and Joseph F. Hartman, both of Hagerstown; a brother, Joseph Clark of Iowa; and seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Bast Funeral Home in Boonsboro. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 7 to 9.
