Mrs. Addie Dashnau 70, wife of Joseph Dashnau, died at the home
of her daughter, Mrs. Thomas Driscoll 71 Mitchell street, Saturday
night following an illness of several weeks. Mrs. Dashnau had been a resident of
Oswego all her life, the family home for many years being located in the Eighth
ward. Through her unfailing kindness, sympathy and charity she endured herself
to many friends in life. She was a communicant of St. Louis church. Surviving
besides her husband are five sons, Assistant Chief Laurence Dashnau of the
Oswego Fire Department Arthur, Harold, George and Sidney Dashnau; four
daughters, Mrs Thomas Driscoll, Mrs. Frank Begley, Mrs. Robert Carr and Mrs.
John Penderleith
