Lola was born Feb. 13, 1905 in Auburn, Wyoming to Harold Henry Harrison and Clara Rosa Mould. She was the 11th child. Her father owned the only store in Auburn and it is said that “Billy the Kid” stopped by once in a while. Her sister, LaRell said she saw him once. Lola enjoyed her childhood with so many brothers and sisters and grew up to fall in love with her 2nd cousin, Merlin Briggs Harrison. They were married on, May 16, 1924. They came to Los Angeles to live and were blessed by four children, Jack Perry, Ruth Evelyn, Bud Merlin and Joann Laura. Merlin died at the age of 38. It took Lola years to get over his death. He was the love of her life. In 1952 she married Harley L. Stone. Lola died on April 10, 2001 in Bountiful, Utah and was buried in Rose Hills, next to her beloved Merlin. They had 18 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
