Bristol, Tenn. - Mrs. Lottie E. Bowles, 94, widow of Jasper J. Bowles, died here Friday. Born in Saluda, S.C., she was a daughter of the late Franklin and Edie A. Shealey Rawl. Surviving are three sons, W. F. Steele of Orangeburg, W. O. Steele of Tampa, Fla., and Reginald Bowles of Victoria, Tex.; three daughters, Mrs. Leila Jeffcoat of Springfield, Mrs. J. D. Jones of Bristol, and Mrs. Robert Roe of Peowankee, Wis.; 11 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. Services will be 4 p.m. Monday at Cedargrove Lutheran Church Cemetery near Leesville, S.C. Thompson's Funeral Home is in charge. © The State, Columbia, SC, 25 Apr 1976
