COY JESSE BONNER, 76, of Hendricks, died January 21, 2008, at his home.

His death was contributed to cancer.

He was born November 27, 1931, at Hendricks, a son of the late Ira Lakin and Lena Christine Carr Bonner.

On November 29, 1963, he was married to Patsy Joan Bonner who survives.

Also surviving is one son, Terry Coy Bonner and his wife, Pamela V. Bonner, of Hambleton; three grandchildren, Ashley R. Bonner of Parsons and Heather B. Bonner and Tayylor B. Bonner who live at home; one brother, Don C. Bonner of Parsons.

He was preceded in death by six brothers and one sister.

He attended school in Tucker County and worked for the Department of Highways for 25 years as a heavy equipment operator.

He retired in January 1994.

He also worked for the Penn Line Service of Scottsdale, PA., for several years.

He served in the U.S. Army as a sergeant during the Korean War.

He attended the Sycamore Grove Church of Bull Run and was a Pentecostal by faith.

Friends will be received from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at Hinkle Funeral Home in Davis.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 23, at the funeral home with the Rev. Pat Cassidy officiating.

Burial will be at Flanagan Hill Cemetery in Red Creek. Hinkle Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
