Whitesville Resident, G. H. Hendricks, Dies
Funeral services for George Howard Hendricks, 77, former Boone county constable who died Friday of a heart attack at his home at Whitesville, will be held at the Orgas Presbyterian church at 2 p.m. Sundy. Rev. O. E. Stump will officiate. The Valley mortuary has charge.
Mr. Hendricks was a charter member of the Odd Fellows and Moose lodges at Whitesville and of the Orgas Presbyterian church. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Effie Hendricks; two brothers, J. R. of Orgas and H. J. of Keith.

George H. Hendricks Dies In Whiteville
Whitesville, Feb. 27
George Howard Hendricks, 77, of Whitesville, died at his home today about noon.
He was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Orgas, a charter member of the Whitesville Odd Fellows Lodge, and a charter member of the Moose Lodge in Whitesville. A retired moner, formerly employed by the Webb Coal Mining Company at Garrison, he had served 12 years as a constable in Boone County and was a county peace officer for three years. He was a member of the United Mine Workers of America.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Effie Hendricks, Whitesville; and two brothers, John r. Hendricks, Orgas, and H. J. Hendricks, Keith.
Funeral services will be held at the Orgas Presbyterian Church Snday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. O. E. Stump of Whitesville officiating. Nephews of the deceased will serve as pallbearers. The body will be removed from the Valley Funeral home to the residence Saturday morning at 9 a.m.
