Ret Capt US Army- retired after 21 years of service to the US Armed Forces. He was a survivor of Pearl Harbor and served in North Africa, England, Germany and Japan. He played an integral role during the Nuremberg trials. He spent a good deal of his career in military intelligence. Prior to his retirement, he was stationed in Japan as Postmaster with his family.

He retired in 1961 and settled in Hartford. He was involved with the Boys Scouts of America since childhood. A religious man, he was faithful to his Episcopal beliefs. He was also a member of the VFW and the American legion.
