PASSED AWAY
ONE OF THE PIONEER WOMEN OF THE COUNTY CALLED TO HER REWARD

At the ripe age of about 80 years, Mrs John Moran, one of the pioneer women of the county, passed away at her home in Eyota township, Thursday morning, after a two weeks illness, old age being the chief cause.

Mrs Moran was a native of Ireland, coming to this country at an early day and to this county when it was first settled. She was twice married, her first husband, John Quinlan, preceding her some years ago. Those of her children who survive her, besides the bereaved husband, are Mrs Peter May, St Paul; Frank Quinlan, St Paul; Robert Quinlan, of this county and Mrs M. A. Iverson, this city, besides many friends and relatives.

The funeral will be held from her church, the Church of the Holy Redeemer at Eyota, Rev. Father Maddock officiating, Friday morning, and interment will be made in St John's cemetery in this county.
